Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the digital payment system on the decision to use laundry services in Simpasai Village, Dompu Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population consisted of 35 laundry service consumers, and a saturated sampling technique was applied, in which all members of the population were selected as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using validity, reliability, classical assumption, simple linear regression, partial (t-test), and coefficient of determination analyses with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. The results revealed that the digital payment system has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use laundry services, as indicated by a t-value of 12.353 with a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05) and an R Square value of 0.822, indicating that the digital payment system explains 82.2% of the variation in the decision to use laundry services, while the remaining 17.8% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. The findings suggest that implementing digital payment systems can serve as an effective strategy for laundry service providers to improve service quality and encourage consumers' decisions to use laundry services.
