Abstract

This study presents a high-accuracy predictive model for rice production in Indonesia using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), achieving an R² of 98.11%, Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 0.0966, and Mean Squared Error (MSE) of 0.0189. Climate variability remains a significant challenge to rice cultivation in regions like Malang City, where unpredictable environmental factors such as rainfall, temperature, and humidity hinder effective crop planning and yield estimation. To address this, we developed a Multilayer Perceptron (MLP)-based ANN model incorporating agro-environmental variables: rainfall, temperature, humidity, harvested area, and production quantity. Historical data from 2009 to 2024 were sourced from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The dataset underwent preprocessing, including cleaning, feature extraction, Z-Score normalization, and partitioning into training and testing sets. The proposed ANN architecture consists of an input layer, three hidden layers, and an output layer for regression tasks. Comparative evaluation against Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbors, and Support Vector Regression demonstrated the ANN’s superior ability to model complex nonlinear relationships in agricultural data. The results highlight the role of intelligent data-driven systems in enhancing the accuracy of yield forecasting, supporting sustainable agricultural practices, and informing national food security policy.

Abstract

The E-Monev application is used as a system for monitoring and evaluating program performance. However, based on preliminary field observations, it is found that some E-Monev users still experience various difficulties. Several commonly reported problems include an application interface that is considered difficult to understand, data access processes that are often slow and require a long time to load information, and confusion in operating the menus available in the E-Monev application. This study seeks to investigate user satisfaction and acceptance of the E-Monev application by combining two frameworks: the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A quantitative approach was employed, involving the distribution of questionnaires to 134 E-Monev users within the Jombang Regency Government. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS 4. The analysis encompassed both the outer model assessing convergent validity, discriminant validity, and reliability and the inner model, which included evaluation of R-square, effect size, predictive relevance, and hypothesis testing.The results show that several variables, namely Content (t-value = 2.759; p-value = 0.006), Perceived Ease of Use (t-value = 3.637; p-value = 0.000), and Attitude (t-value = 14.965; p-value = 0.000), have a significant effect on the actual use of the application. Meanwhile, the variables of Accuracy, Perceived Usefulness, Ease of Use, Format, and Timeliness do not show a significant influence on user attitude. The factor with the strongest effect is Attitude toward Actual Use; therefore, enhancing users’ positive attitudes becomes the main key to optimizing E-Monev utilization. These findings provide insights for system administrators to improve content quality, ease of interaction, and user experience so that the implementation of E-Monev can be carried out more effectively.

Abstract

Konsep makanan halalan thayyiban dalam al-Qur'an dan Hadis memberikan panduan konsumsi yang tidak hanya halal secara hukum syariat, tetapi juga baik bagi kesehatan dan keselamatan manusia. Seiring kemajuan teknologi, daging kultur berbasis stem cell muncul sebagai inovasi bioteknologi pangan yang dirancang menyerupai daging konvensional. Namun, isu kehalalan dan etika menjadi sorotan, terutama di kalangan Muslim. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif untuk menelaah penerapan konsep halalan thayyiban dalam produksi daging kultur berbasis stem cell. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa produk ini masih menghadapi tantangan besar dalam memenuhi prinsip tersebut secara menyeluruh. Dari aspek halal, penggunaan sel punca dari hewan hidup tanpa penyembelihan syar’i serta media kultur yang mengandung unsur haram menjadikannya berpotensi haram. Dari sisi thayyib, kandungan gizi, aroma, dan rasa masih belum sebanding dengan daging konvensional, sehingga memerlukan pengembangan teknologi lebih lanjut. Oleh karena itu, daging kultur berbasis stem cell saat ini belum memenuhi kriteria halalan thayyiban. Meskipun demikian, perkembangan teknologi di masa depan membuka peluang untuk mengatasi hambatan ini melalui penggunaan bahan baku yang halal, peningkatan nilai gizi, dan penerapan proses produksi sesuai prinsip-prinsip syariat Islam.
