Abstract

ABSTRACTThis feature program entitled "Gir Pasang" which discusses a village named Gir Pasang located on the slopes of Mount Merapi, precisely Kemalang included in the sub- district, Klaten, Central Java. Gir Pasang is extremely isolated because it is located between the steep ravines and away from the construction of infrastructure such as mosques, schools and health centers. This hamlet is also entered into the Merapi eruption disaster-prone areas. Even so, the villagers of Gir Pasang still choose to survive and stay in the village without worrying eruption of Mount Merapi since they mempercaya that they will remain safe if Mount Merapi erupts because there are mountains green which is believed to be older than the Mount Merapi that Mount Merapi dare not pass if the eruption. To establish friendships with Merapi, until now they preserve the tradition selametan as a symbol of friendship. Creating the works feature in desperately needed a photographer to take pictures as directed by the Director.This program focuses on the exploration of camera angle in the delivery of information visually. The camera angle used is eye-level, high angle, low angle and bird eyes. In addition, using the technique cameraman panning camera movement, tracking, tilting, crabbing and following. As for the type of shot that is used among close-up, medium close-up, medium shot, medium long shot, long shot, and the full shot. All camera techniques used in order to produce images yabg vary so it is not boring. In addition, to produce an image of a dynamic, dramatic, expressive and have the information.Keywords: feature, gir pasang, angle exploration

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out business promotion strategies using user generated content in a car light custom repair shop, namely Lelek Auto Light. In the research, the concept used is user generated content and also the strategy stages which are carried out through the strategy stage concept. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with interview, observation and documentation data collection methods. The results of this research are that Lelek Auto Light uses 3 promotional strategy stages, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. At the planning stage, problem analysis, audience analysis, formulating communication objectives, determining media channels and planning media production are used. In the implementation stage, namely utilizing TikTok social media and managing user generated content which is done with Lelek Auto Light, producing video content to be used as a reference by users. At the evaluation stage, strategy evaluation is carried out and also evaluation of the results of the strategies that have been used.

Abstract

Penting untuk diakui bahwa penggunaan Instagram dalam konteks keuangan belum sepenuhnya dieksplorasi dan dipahami, terkhusus dalam meningkatkan finansial tambahan di kalangan remaja khususnya pada mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta. Metode analisis data yang digunakan di penelitian ini yaitu mengacu pada model analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa Instagram merupakan platform media sosial yang secara signifikan berkontribusi mahasiswa dalam mendapatkan keuntungan melaui endorsement. Dari data yang diperoleh, dapat dilihat bahwa mahasiswa yang aktif bermain Instagram mampu menghasilkan pendapatan melalui endorse yang berpengaruh positif terhadap kondisi finansial mereka. Keuntungan secara personal mengenai endorsement di Instagram pada mahasiswa Universitas Teknologi Yogyakarta rata – rata berhasil meningkatkan pendapatan dan uang jajan tambahan. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran jelas tentang peran Instagram dalam meningkatkan pendapatan pada mahasiswa, tetapi juga menekankan seberapa pentingnya strategi yang digunakan untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal. Penggunaan Instagram untuk endorse juga telah meningkatkan pemasaran digital dan personal branding pada mahasiswa, mereka belajar untuk membuat konten yang menarik, tidak hanya meningkatkan interaksi audiens tetapi juga daya tarik produk yang dipromosikan.

Abstract

Gender injustice and violence against women is still a problem throughout the world and globally, including in Indonesia, where it is also reflected in various existing media, especially films. In the film Isolation Ward directed by Adhe Dharmastriya, it discusses the form of gender injustice that exists against women in a special prison for women and how both are in the position of perpetrators and victims of injustice and gender violence in a prison, especially a women's prison. This research aims to analyze the depiction of women's position in the film through Sara Mills' Critical Discourse Analysis approach, focusing on the position of subjects, objects and power relations formed. The research method in this study is descriptive qualitative with primary data in the form of film scenes and dialogs and sender data from related literature. The results showed four main depictions: (1) women's struggle to obtain information and justice; (2) violence against women; (3) exploitation of women; and (4) violence among women. The findings reveal how the movie reproduces gender injustice while offering a narrative of resistance through the main character, Wenny. In conclusion, the movie Isolation Ward not only reflects social reality but also becomes a media criticism of the patriarchal system and gender-based violence.
