Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of supplementing fish meal–based feed with Raja Lele vitamin on the growth of striped catfish (Pangasius pangasius). The research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Universitas Nias, for 10 weeks, from April 15 to June 17, 2026. A total of 10 striped catfish were used as experimental fish. The feed was formulated using fish meal as the main ingredient and enriched with Raja Lele vitamin, and was administered regularly throughout the rearing period. The observed parameters included weight gain, total length, standard length, survival rate (SR), and specific growth rate (SGR). The results showed that the addition of Raja Lele vitamin to fish meal–based feed supported the growth of striped catfish, as indicated by increases in body weight and length during the rearing period and by a high survival rate. Therefore, the supplementation of Raja Lele vitamin in fish meal–based feed has the potential to improve the nutritional quality of the feed and promote the growth of striped catfish.
