Abstract

This research aims to develop a science e-book with Project Based-Learning model integrated with Design Thinking. This research is a development research using the 4D model, namely the Define, Design, Develeop and Disseminate stages which are limited to the Develop stage. Data collection techniques using non-test techniques with validation questionnaires given to two experts, namely material experts and media experts as well as practicality questionnaires given to science teachers and readability questionnaires for students. The data were analyzed using the reproducibility coefficient (CR), the scalability coefficient (CS), and the calculation of the average score. The results showed that the developed e-book met the valid criteria by both experts with CR ≥ 90% and CS ≥ 60%. The results of the practicality assessment by science teachers and the readability test by students showed a very high category. These results indicate that the e-book developed is valid, practical and feasible to use in science learning.
