Abstract

The Periodic Salary Increment (Kenaikan Gaji Berkala/KGB) service at the Regional Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Boalemo Regency is still carried out semi-manually, resulting in inefficiencies in document submission, verification, and information dissemination processes. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Periodic Salary Increment Information System equipped with real-time notification features for Civil Servants (PNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK). The research employed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which consists of requirements planning, design workshop, and implementation phases. The system was developed using the CodeIgniter 4 framework and MySQL database management system. System testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to evaluate functional suitability. The results indicate that the developed system successfully facilitates online KGB submissions, document verification, application status monitoring, automatic decree generation, WhatsApp-based real-time notifications, and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) security features. Furthermore, the testing results demonstrate that all system functionalities operate according to user requirements. Therefore, the proposed system can support a more effective, efficient, and integrated digital transformation of periodic salary increment services at BKPSDM Kabupaten Boalemo
