Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve elementary school teachers' competence in developing STEMpreneur-based learning devices oriented toward enhancing students' creativity. The activity was conducted at SDN Sidorejo Krian in February 2026, involving 20 teachers as participants. The method used a two-day workshop designed through three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation, combining material presentation, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice in designing STEMpreneur-based learning devices. To measure the success of the activity objectively, data were collected through multiple instruments: pretest and posttest to measure improvement in teachers' understanding of STEMpreneur concepts, product assessment rubrics to evaluate the quality of learning devices developed by participants, and participant satisfaction questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers' understanding, with an average pretest score of 58.4 increasing to 83.7 in the posttest (an increase of 43.3%). The learning devices produced by participants achieved an average score of 81.6 (good category), indicating that teachers were able to develop STEMpreneur-based lesson plans, teaching modules, and project designs that were relevant, innovative, and applicable in the classroom. Participant satisfaction also reached a very high category (average score of 4.5 out of 5). These findings indicate that the workshop not only improved teachers' understanding but also produced tangible outputs in the form of quality learning devices. Thus, the STEMpreneur workshop can serve as an effective strategy for enhancing teachers' competence in developing innovative learning that supports twenty-first century skills. This activity is expected to be implemented sustainably and expanded on a broader scale to provide more optimal impacts on the quality of learning in elementary schools.
