<![CDATA[The preschool years (ages 3–5) are a critical period for school readiness, marked by significant improvements in fine motor skills that serve as the foundation for writing and daily activities. Fine motor impairments can cause difficulties in writing, cutting, buttoning clothes, and poor hand-eye coordination, which may affect a child's independence, academic performance, and behavior. Stimulation through play therapy and early detection using Denver II screening are essential to prevent developmental delays. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of Evidence Based Practice Nursing (EBPN) play therapy with plasticine in improving fine motor development in preschool children with fine motor disorders. A case study design was used with three preschool-aged children who had fine motor deficits based on Denver II screening. The plasticine play therapy intervention was given four times a week for 60 minutes per session. Evaluation was conducted using pretest and posttest Denver II fine motor sector after the fourth day of intervention. The results showed that all three respondents experienced improved fine motor skills. Denver II screening results in the fine motor sector shifted from the "suspect" category to "normal." In conclusion, plasticine play therapy is effective in enhancing fine motor skills of preschool children. This intervention can be applied by nurses to stimulate child growth and development and can be taught to parents as independent stimulation at home.]]>
