Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of company size and capital structure on profitability with liquidity as a control variable in food and beverage subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2022-2025 period. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data from audited annual financial statements. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, resulting in 8 companies meeting the criteria with 32 total observations. Data analysis was performed using panel data regression with EViews 14 software. The results show that company size has no significant effect on profitability (ROA). Capital structure (DER) has a negative and significant effect on profitability (ROA). Simultaneously, company size, capital structure, and liquidity (CR) as a control variable significantly affect profitability with an Adjusted R-squared of 45.16%.
