Abstract

This study aims to determine the effects of competence and job training on employee performance at the Human Resources Development Center (PPSDM) of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education in Depok City. The study used a quantitative associative approach. The population comprised 76 employees, all of whom were selected as respondents through saturated sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS version 27 through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression, correlation, coefficient of determination, t-tests, and an F-test. Competence had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (t = 47.013; p < 0.001), while job training also had a positive and significant effect (t = 41.095; p < 0.001). Simultaneously, competence and job training significantly affected employee performance (F = 1285.321; p < 0.001). The multiple regression equation was Y = 1.544 + 0.602X1 + 0.354X2, with R² = 0.972, indicating that both variables explained 97.2% of the variation in employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of recruitment and communication on the work productivity of State Civil Apparatus personnel in the Headquarters Unit Department of Dr. Mintohardjo Naval Hospital, Central Jakarta. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach. The population consisted of 64 employees, all of whom were selected as respondents through saturated sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with SPSS version 26 through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression, correlation, coefficient of determination, t-tests, and an F-test. Recruitment had a positive and significant effect on work productivity with the equation Y = 11.269 + 0.666X, r = 0.781, R² = 0.610, and t = 9.854 (p < 0.001). Communication also had a positive and significant effect with the equation Y = 5.871 + 0.820X, r = 0.807, R² = 0.652, and t = 10.766 (p < 0.001). Simultaneously, recruitment and communication significantly affected work productivity with the equation Y = 4.166 + 0.360X1 + 0.518X2, R = 0.861, R² = 0.741, and F = 87.186 (p < 0.001). These findings indicate that a more appropriate recruitment process and effective organizational communication can improve employee productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of interpersonal communication and conflict management on employee team effectiveness at PT Cita Lini Persada in Tangerang, both partially and simultaneously. The research employed a quantitative associative approach. The population consisted of 52 employees and the sample comprised 52 respondents selected using probability sampling with a simple random sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 25 through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, t-tests, and an F-test. The results show that interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect on team effectiveness (t = 2.290; p = 0.026), while conflict management also has a positive and significant effect (t = 5.444; p < 0.001). Simultaneously, interpersonal communication and conflict management significantly affect team effectiveness (F = 101.929; p < 0.001). The multiple regression equation is Y = 3.872 + 0.292X1 + 0.621X2, with R² = 0.806, indicating that both variables explain 80.6% of the variation in team effectiveness.
