Abstract

The problem currently occurring in the Y geothermal field is a decrease in production, especially at the geothermal power plant unit 4. The solution is to drill a make-up X well, The production test using orifice meter method is one way that can be used to determine the performance of a geothermal well, which will then produce a deliverability curve. When drilling a make-up X well, of course there is a water injection process into the well, this will cause an interference effect on the surrounding wells. The results obtained from the production test using orifice meter method on make-up X well, has an electrical potential of 9.49 Mw with a steam flow rate of 70.920 kg/kWh, and the type of production fluid is superheated steam. Whereas, the wells that were interfered with by make-up X well are production wells Well-B and Well-G, for production wells that are completely uninterrupted by make-up well are Well-E, Well-K, Well-H, Well-N, and Well-O. However, there are wells that experience instrument and data manipulation problems, so that the temporary conclusion is that they are not interfered with by make-up X well, including the production wells Well-C, Well-A, WellF, Well-D, Well-J, Well-L, Well-M, and Well-I.
