Abstract

This study examines the effect of using instructional video on improving students' understanding in Social Studies learning at MTs Mursyidul Awwam Cenrana. The study employed a quantitative quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population consisted of all eighth-grade students, while the sample involved 28 students divided into an experimental class and a control class, each containing 14 students. The experimental class learned through instructional video, whereas the control class received conventional teaching. Data were collected using multiple-choice pretest and posttest instruments and supported by documentation. The data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, normality testing, homogeneity testing, independent sample t-test, and normalized gain analysis. The results show that the experimental class mean score increased from 40.00 to 91.07, while the control class increased from 40.36 to 70.71. The independent sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.001, indicating a significant difference between the two classes. The N-Gain score was 0.85 for the experimental class and 0.51 for the control class. The findings indicate that instructional video has a positive, significant, and more effective effect on students' understanding than conventional learning.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of using the YouTube platform as learning media on students' learning interest at MTs Mursyidul Awwam Cenrana. The study employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design because the use of YouTube as a learning medium had occurred before the data were collected. The research population consisted of all eighth-grade students of MTs Mursyidul Awwam, and saturated sampling was used to involve 28 students from classes VIII A and VIII B. Data were collected through closed questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, validity and reliability testing, prerequisite tests, and simple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results show that all questionnaire items were valid, with the reliability coefficients of the YouTube variable and learning interest variable reaching 0.844 and 0.826, respectively. The regression analysis produced the equation Y = 17.464 + 0.609X, with a significance value of 0.001 and an R Square value of 0.340. These findings indicate that YouTube has a positive and significant effect on students' learning interest and explains 34.0% of the variance in students' learning interest.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has transformed educational practices by encouraging the integration of interactive digital learning media to create more engaging and student-centered learning environments. Despite its increasing use in schools, empirical evidence regarding its influence on students' learning motivation in regular classroom settings remains limited. This study aimed to examine the effect of interactive digital learning media on the learning motivation of eleventh-grade students at UPT SMA Negeri 12 Bone. A quantitative approach with an ex post facto research design was employed. The study involved a population of 232 students, from which 32 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, and the research instruments were tested for validity and reliability prior to data collection. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The findings indicated that the use of interactive digital learning media had a positive and statistically significant effect on students' learning motivation. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination revealed that interactive digital learning media explained 58.2% of the variance in students' learning motivation, while the remaining 41.8% was influenced by other factors not included in the research model. These findings suggest that the effective implementation of interactive digital learning media can foster students' motivation by promoting active participation, meaningful learning experiences, and greater engagement during the learning process. Therefore, integrating interactive digital learning media into classroom instruction can serve as an effective strategy for enhancing students' learning motivation and supporting the implementation of technology-based learning in secondary education.

Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Bone. Supervisor I: Syamsuria. and Supervisor II: Hamka This study aims to determine the effect of school cooperative management on entrepreneurial interest in grade X AKL 1 students of SMK Negeri 1 Bone. This study used a quantitative approach with an ex post facto research type. The population in this study was all 69 grade X AKL 1 students of SMK Negeri 1 Bone. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, so the entire population was used as the research sample. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and documentation. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability using the SPSS program. Data analysis techniques used included validity tests, reliability tests, and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that school cooperative management influenced students' entrepreneurial interest. This is demonstrated by the results of a simple linear regression test (Y=1.008+0.928X) with a significance value of 0.000<0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the better the management of the school cooperative, the higher the entrepreneurial interest among 10th-grade AKL 1 students at SMK Negeri 1 Bone.
