Abstract

Organic agriculture in Indonesia has developed in response to health concerns, environmental sustainability, land degradation, and the extensive use of synthetic pesticides in conventional farming. This study aimed to analyze farm management, financing structure, and the feasibility of organic vegetable farming at PT Orgo Organic Farm Indonesia. The study employed descriptive and quantitative approaches. Primary data were obtained through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, while secondary data were collected from farm sales and cost records. The analysis covered revenue, costs, profit, revenue contribution by commodity, and farm feasibility using the R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, and Break-Even Point (BEP). The results showed that the farm applied a multicommodity organic cultivation system and order-based marketing. This system enabled the company to adjust production, harvesting, and product preparation to customer demand, thereby reducing the risk of unsold products and supporting business continuity. However, the system still faced challenges related to limited stock, declining product quality, and dependence on the owner. The financing structure relied on the owner’s capital and sales turnover without bank loans, investors, or trade payables. From May to August 2025, the farm generated revenue of IDR 18,662,865.00, incurred costs of IDR 7,450,555.56, and earned a profit of IDR 11,212,309.44. An R/C Ratio of 2.50, a B/C Ratio of 1.50, and a revenue BEP of IDR 3,007,026.98 indicated that the farm was feasible and profitable.
