Abstract

Batu Gajah is a landslide-prone area in Ambon City that remains inhabited despite being designated as a landslide red zone since 2013. This activity aimed to improve community knowledge and skills in disaster victim management using the Tabletop Exercise (TTX) method. The training involved 35 residents of RT 004/RW 02, Batu Gajah, and consisted of education, demonstrations, simulations, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. The training covered cardiac arrest management, bleeding control, fracture immobilization, and victim evacuation. The evaluation results demonstrated improvements in participants’ knowledge and practical skills following the training. The Tabletop Exercise method may serve as an effective approach to strengthening community preparedness for landslide disaster management.
