Abstract

Abstrak Pengelolaan administrasi kost secara manual berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan, keterlambatan pembayaran, serta kesulitan dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan. Permasalahan tersebut terjadi pada Kost Hendar II, di mana pencatatan data penghuni, pembayaran, dan ketersediaan kamar masih dilakukan menggunakan buku tulis dan aplikasi pesan singkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan membangun sistem informasi manajemen kost berbasis web guna meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi pengelolaan data. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode SDLC model Prototype dengan framework Laravel berbasis arsitektur Model-View-Controller (MVC). Sistem yang dihasilkan dilengkapi fitur manajemen kamar, pengajuan booking, pengelolaan data penghuni, pengelolaan tagihan, e-invoice otomatis, serta rekapitulasi pembayaran secara real-time. Penerapan algoritma greedy digunakan untuk menentukan prioritas pemrosesan invoice berdasarkan tingkat urgensi pembayaran. Evaluasi sistem dilakukan melalui pengujian fungsional (Black Box Testing) dan penyebaran kuesioner User Acceptance Test (UAT) kepada 37 responden. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan seluruh modul sistem berfungsi valid, dengan nilai rata-rata UAT sebesar 4,64 (kategori Sangat Setuju). Sistem berhasil mendigitalisasi pengelolaan kost, meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi, serta mempermudah pemantauan pembayaran dan penyusunan laporan keuangan secara terintegrasi. Abstract Manual management of boarding house administration can lead to recording errors, late payments, and difficulties in preparing financial reports. These issues are present at Kost Hendar II, where the recording of tenant data, payments, and room availability is still done using notebooks and text messaging apps. This study aims to design and develop a web-based dormitory management information system to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of data management. System development was conducted using the SDLC Prototype method with the Laravel framework based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. The resulting system is equipped with features for room management, booking requests, tenant data management, billing management, automatic e-invoicing, and real-time payment summaries. A greedy algorithm is applied to determine invoice processing priorities based on payment urgency levels. System evaluation was conducted through functional testing (Black Box Testing) and the distribution of a User Acceptance Test (UAT) questionnaire to 37 respondents. Test results showed that all system modules functioned correctly, with an average UAT score of 4.64 (Very Agree category). The system successfully digitized boarding house management, improved administrative efficiency, and facilitated integrated payment monitoring and financial reporting.
