Abstract

Abstrak: Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang digital, kecemasan teknologi, dan keterbatasan infrastruktur sekolah menjadi hambatan utama guru di Kabupaten Karawang dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi modern. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan teknologi guru melalui pengenalan computational thinking dan Kecerdasan Artifisial (KA). Metode Training, Monitoring, dan Evaluation berbasis Project-Based Learning (PBL) diterapkan kepada 49 guru SMP di Kabupaten Karawang selama empat bulan. Evaluasi program diukur melalui pre-test, post-test, serta penilaian portofolio tugas. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan guru secara signifikan sebesar +12,04% (nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 69,26% menjadi 81,30%). Selain itu, capaian keterampilan praktis peserta pada penugasan sangat unggul dengan nilai rata-rata mencapai 83,45%. Kegiatan ini sukses mengubah pola pandang guru menjadi lebih kreatif dan inovatof serta mendorong terbentuknya komunitas guru-guru yang kreatif dan inovatf dalam menggunakan teknologi di Karawang.Abstract: Lack of digital knowledge, technological anxiety, and limited school infrastructure are the main obstacles for teachers in Karawang Regency in integrating modern technology. This community service aims to improve teachers' technological knowledge through the introduction of computational thinking and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Training, Monitoring, and Evaluation method based on Project-Based Learning (PBL) was implemented for 49 junior high school teachers in Karawang Regency for four months. Program evaluation was measured through pre-tests, post-tests, and assignment portfolio assessments. The community service results showed a significant improvement for teachers by +12.04% (the average score increased from 69.26% to 81.30%). In addition, the participants' practical skill achievements in the assignments were excellent, with an average score of 83.45%. This activity successfully transformed teachers' mindsets to be more creative and innovative, as well as fostered the formation of a community of creative and innovative teachers in utilizing technology in Karawang.
