Abstract

Technology in the world of education is developing very quickly, teachers are required to be able to take advantage of various learning media. In grade II SDN Lidah Wetan IV Surabaya, teachers still use conventional learning, so it can make students quickly feel bored with the material presented by the teacher. Therefore, it is necessary to have learning media that can increase students' interest in learning. Videoscribe learning media is one alternative that can be implemented during teaching and learning activities. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (PTK), a data collection technique carried out by observation, documentation. For data analysis using quantitative and qualitative. The results of research and discussion are as follows: 1). The use of videoscribe learning media can increase the interest in learning of grade II students of SDN Lidah Wetan IV Surabaya, 2). The use of videoscribe learning media can increase student interest in learning as well as can improve student learning outcomes at SDN Lidah Wetan IV Surabaya in each cycle from 78% to 93%.

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes in data presentation skills through Dabar (Pictured Dice) media for class V students at SDN Lidah Wetan IV Surabaya. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 18 class V students consisting of 11 male students and 7 female students. The research results showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes in the ability to present data after Dabar media was implemented. The average value of learning outcomes in pre-action was 11.11%, increasing to 83.7 in cycle II when Dabar media was applied in pictogram material data presentation activities. Apart from that, observations also show active participation of students in learning using Dabar media. This shows that Dabar media is effective in improving learning outcomes in the data presentation abilities of class V students at SDN Lidah Wetan IV Surabaya. This research can be used as a reference for teachers and other researchers in developing innovative learning media to improve student learning outcomes.
