<![CDATA[The basis of this research is the low level of learning participation among fifth-grade students in the Pancasila Education learning process at MI YAPPI Pijenan. Initial observations indicated that most students were passive, lacked confidence in expressing their opinions, and the delivery of material still relied on a lecture method dominated by the teacher. Engagement in learning is crucial for achieving success in education, especially in Pancasila Education, which aims to shape students' character as citizens and teach the application of Pancasila values in daily life. The purpose of this study is to enhance the engagement of fifth-grade students in Pancasila Education through group discussions at MI YAPPI Pijenan.This research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, conducted over two cycles. Each cycle consisted of stages such as planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were fifth-grade students at MI YAPPI Pijenan for the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively using simple qualitative and quantitative approaches.The results of the study indicate that the use of group discussion methods effectively increases the engagement of fifth-grade students in Pancasila Education at MI YAPPI Pijenan. This improvement was reflected in the increased number of students actively asking questions, expressing opinions, collaborating within groups, and presenting discussion results. Learning through group discussion methods helped create more interactive, collaborative, and meaningful learning activities, thereby fostering a positive environment for student engagement.]]>
