<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the effect of the outdoor learning method assisted by photovoice media on the science and social studies (IPAS) learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 1 Kemenuh Gianyar. The study was motivated by the low IPAS learning outcomes caused by teacher-centered learning practices and the lack of direct learning experiences for students. This research employed a quantitative approach using a Pre-Experimental design with the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population as well as the sample consisted of 30 fifth-grade students selected through a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument was a 20-item multiple-choice test that had been validated and proven reliable. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics with the assistance of SPSS version 30. The results showed that the average pretest score of students was 61.33, which increased to 85.17 in the posttest. The N-Gain result of 0.62 was categorized as moderate improvement. In addition, the results of the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and H₁ was accepted. Therefore, the outdoor learning method assisted by photovoice media had a significant effect on students’ IPAS learning outcomes. The implementation of this method was able to create a more active, contextual, and meaningful learning process through direct learning experiences and the use of visual media in learning activities.]]>
