Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of cinematographic techniques in the production of the “Earthday with BLP” campaign video as a visual communication medium. The research used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and literature study. The results showed that the use of camera angles, lighting, movement camera, color grading, and editing improved the visual quality of the video, allowing campaign messages to be conveyed effectively to the audience. Cinematographic techniques also helped build emotional atmosphere and enhance visual appeal. The proper application of visual techniques made the video more communicative, attractive, and effective as a digital visual communication medium.
