Abstract

This study aims to analyze the principal's transformational leadership as a key to successful digital literacy at SDN 1 Dasan Tereng. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation with the principal, teachers, and students to inform the research. The results of this study indicate that the principal plays a crucial and strategic role model for digital culture through exemplary use of technology, digitalization of school governance, motivation, and strengthening learning innovations. The principal is able to create a collaborative, adaptive, and technology-based school culture through a humanistic and participatory approach. Furthermore, the success of digital literacy in schools significantly influences the principal's ability to build collective motivation, relevant communication, and competent teacher competency development. This study found that digital transformation in elementary schools is not solely determined by all forms of facilities but also by the principal's transformational leadership pattern in building an innovative organizational culture oriented towards improving the quality of education.
