<![CDATA[ This research report was prepared by Maria Herlina Ugha Woga, Student ID 2201140016, titled “The Application of the Snowball Throwing Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Student Learning Outcomes on the Properties of Matter in Third Grade at UPTD SD Inpres Oeba 5.” The objective of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Snowball Throwing model in improving third-grade students’ learning outcomes on the properties of matter at UPTD SD Inpres Oeba 5. The focus of this study is to evaluate students’ understanding through the implementation of the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning model. The research design employed was classroom action research (CAR), conducted in several stages: planning, implementation, observation/testing, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of 33 third-grade students, with data collected through observation, tests, and interviews, which were then analyzed quantitatively. The results of the study indicate that students’ understanding of the “Properties of Matter” material in Cycle I reached a mastery level of only 63.63% (21 students), while 36.36% (12 students) had not yet met the Learning Objective Mastery Criteria (KKTP). However, after implementing instructional improvements in Cycle II, a significant improvement occurred, with the average student score rising from 63.63% to 90,90%. Based on the research question in this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Snowball Throwing cooperative learning model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of third-grade students at UPTD SDI Bertingkat Oeba 5, as evidenced by the improvement in learning outcomes in Cycle I and Cycle II.]]>
