Abstract

This study aims to "determine the differences and effects of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by the Smart Steps media on the learning interest of third-grade students of SD Negeri Bandungan 01." The study method applied is quantitative through the Quasi Experimental Design in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The data collection method is carried out through questionnaires, observations, structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through independent sample t-tests to determine differences and simple linear regression tests to evaluate the influence of variables. The existing findings confirm that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class with a significance score of 0.034 <0.05. Then, the findings of the regression test describe a significant influence with a significance score of 0.008 <0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that "the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model assisted by the Smart Steps media is effective in increasing students' learning interest."
