This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students on fact and opinion material in Indonesian language learning in grade IV at SDN Karangbesuki 3. The problem occurred because students still had difficulty distinguishing factual and opinion sentences, and the learning media used were less varied, causing the learning process to become monotonous and students to be less active during learning activities. This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes in Indonesian language subject on fact and opinion material by using Flashcard media for fourth-grade elementary school students. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the John Elliott model, which consists of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The study was conducted in two cycles involving 28 students consisting of 12 male students and 16 female students. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the use of flashcard media was able to improve students’ learning outcomes. The average score increased from 72 in the pre-cycle stage to 77 in cycle I and increased again to 82 in cycle II. Students’ learning mastery also increased from 50% in the pre-cycle stage to 57% in cycle I and reached 96% in cycle II. The use of flashcard media made students more active, enthusiastic, and easier to understand fact and opinion material through interesting and concrete visual displays. The use of flashcard media proved effective in improving Indonesian language learning outcomes on fact and opinion material for fourth-grade elementary school students.
