This study was motivated by the low interpretative reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 112 Pacciro, Bone Regency. Most students still experienced difficulties in understanding implied meanings, drawing inferences, and interpreting relationships between ideas in reading texts. This study aimed to determine the effect of the application of the PQ4R method assisted by interactive infographics on students’ interpretative reading comprehension skills before and after the treatment was given. This study employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study consisted of all fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 112 Pacciro, Bone Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year, totaling 20 students. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, so all members of the population were selected as the research sample. Data were collected using written tests in the form of pretests and posttests. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through the paired sample t-test. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis showed that the students’ mean pretest score was 43.50, categorized as low, while the mean posttest score was 73.25, categorized as good. The inferential statistical analysis showed that the t-count value of 38.770 was higher than the t-table value of 2.09302 at a significance level of 0.05. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the PQ4R method assisted by interactive infographics had a significant effect on the interpretative reading comprehension skills of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 112 Pacciro, Bone Regency.
