Abstract

This research's goal was to examine how the usage of e-booklet learning materials impacted students' academic success in geography, particularly in grade XI's population dynamics section at SMA Negeri 3 Bangko. This research utilized a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design based on the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample included 53 students, split between a control class of 27 students and an experimental class of 26 students. Pre-test and post-test learning outcome assessments were used to collect the data. Normality testing, homogeneity testing, N-Gain analysis, and Independent Sample t-test were included in the data analysis. The average pre-test score of the experimental class was 68.1, compared to 67.4 for the control class, according to the data. After treatment with e-booklet media, the experimental class's average post-test score rose to 86.5, whereas the control class's average score was only 74.2. While the control group received a 0.20 N-Gain score (low category), the experimental group received a 0.57 N-Gain score (moderate category). The hypothesis test yielded a significance value of 0.000, which was less than 0.05, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. Consequently, utilizing e-booklet learning materials greatly influences students' geography learning results.
