Abstract

Educational marketing strategies in the digital era have become an important aspect of improving the competitiveness of educational institutions, particularly amidst increasingly intense competition among institutions and changes in public behavior in obtaining information, which is now largely dependent on digital media. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital-based educational marketing strategies in improving institutional competitiveness at MI Unggulan An-Nawawi. This study employed a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of the principal, teachers, and parties involved in implementing the institution's marketing activities. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while the validity of the data was tested through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings revealed that MI Unggulan An-Nawawi implemented marketing strategies through the utilization of various digital media such as websites and social media as promotional tools and information dissemination platforms for the community. In addition, the institution highlighted its flagship programs as a form of differentiation and established collaborations with various parties to increase public trust in the institution. The implementation of these marketing strategies was also analyzed based on the 7P marketing mix approach, which includes product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. However, the implementation of these strategies still encountered several challenges, including limited human resources in the field of digital marketing and digital content management that had not yet been optimally and integratively managed. Therefore, digital-based educational marketing strategies not only contribute to improving institutional competitiveness but also serve as a strategic effort to strengthen the institution’s image, enhance public trust, and support the sustainable development of educational institutions.
