Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of forming students' noble character akhlaqul karimah amidst the development of the times and increasingly complex moral challenges. Learning the Ta'lim Muta'allim book at MA Miftahul Ulum Cermenan Ngoro Jombang is implemented as an effort to develop students' character through instilling the values of adab, ethics, and morals. This study aims to describe the implementation of learning the Ta'lim Muta'allim book in improving the quality of noble character of grade XI students and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as data analysis through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions with triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the study show that learning is carried out routinely through lecture methods, bandongan, question and answer, and giving advice with materials that emphasize the etiquette of seeking knowledge, respect for teachers, discipline, responsibility, and humility, so as to improve politeness, discipline, respect for teachers, and students' learning responsibilities. Supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, teacher quality, and relevant materials, while inhibiting factors are differences in student backgrounds and less varied learning methods.
