Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the circuit training method using static visual media on students' enthusiasm for practicing in futsal extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 146 Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods and adopts a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 30 futsal extracurricular participants selected using the total sampling method. The research instrument is an exercise motivation questionnaire which has been tested for validity and robustness. Data analysis was carried out using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, the Levene Test homogeneity test, and the Paired Sample t-test hypothesis test, all operated via IBM SPSS Statistics 29 software. The results showed that the average motivation to practice increased from 72.83 during the initial exam to 80.50 during the final exam. The results of hypothesis testing show a calculated t value of 9.500 which is greater than the t table value of 2.045, with a significance level of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05. From these results it can be concluded that the circuit training method which uses static visual media has a significant influence on students' motivation to practice in futsal extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 146 Jakarta.
