Abstract

Student activeness is essential in Pancasila Education because the subject requires learners to examine social issues, express arguments, cooperate, and reflect on civic values. However, classroom learning is still often dominated by teacher explanations, limiting students’ opportunities to participate. This article analyzes the relevance of the Quantum Teaching model to strengthening student activeness in Pancasila Education. The study employed a narrative literature review with thematic analysis. Literature was purposively searched through Google Scholar, Garuda, DOAJ, and official journal websites. Twelve open-access journal articles published between 2021 and 2025, with DOI identification and relevance to Quantum Teaching, active learning, or Pancasila and Civic Education, were selected. Four articles were used to describe the contextual problem, while eight empirical articles formed the main discussion data. The synthesis shows that the TANDUR stages provide structured opportunities to build attention, connect learning with experience, clarify concepts, present arguments, review understanding, and appreciate learning efforts. The most direct contribution to activeness appears in the Alami and Demonstrasikan stages through observation, discussion, collaboration, questioning, argumentation, and presentation. Nevertheless, most studies involved limited samples and combined Quantum Teaching with particular learning media. Therefore, Quantum Teaching is relevant as a participatory learning framework, but its implementation requires clear tasks, equitable roles, contextual civic issues, and process-based assessment.
