<![CDATA[He development of futsal in Indonesia, particularly in the city of Semarang during the 2025–2026 period, has seen a rapid rise in performance. However, the quality of competition organization still varies between events managed professionally by event organizers and those managed independently by internal organizations. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the role of event organizers in supporting the success of futsal competitions in Semarang by comparing two event management models: (Siji Futsal, which uses the event organizer PT. Tulang-Tulung) and (Super CUP, which is managed by the Semarang City Futsal Association). The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection was conducted through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews using purposive sampling techniques with 30 participants consisting of chairpersons/vice-chairpersons, referees, supporters, and athletes at both events. The research findings show that using an event organizer provides a clear advantage in terms of technical professionalism, punctuality, clear regulations during technical meetings, on-site facilities, a clear and easily accessible information system, and strict security provided by guards. Conversely, events held without an event organizer or managed by the Semarang City Futsal Association have weaknesses in terms of technical issues, last-minute preparations, and an ever-changing schedule, but they excel in providing a more intimate atmosphere, are free of charge, and are well-suited for identifying young athletic talent. In conclusion, the use of an Event Organizer is crucial and mandatory for large-scale, prestigious tournaments to ensure they run smoothly. However, event organizers must collaborate with regional futsal associations to ensure that match regulations comply with those of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI). Meanwhile, tournaments managed by organizations are well-suited as entertainment and a platform for scouting young futsal talent, provided that the organizing committee is strict in managing time and enforcing rules on the field.]]>
