Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Instagram @brinpedia as a medium for disseminating research and innovation information by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using observation, interviews, active participation, and literature review. The findings show that @brinpedia is effectively utilized through visual content such as carousel posts and videos using simple and accessible language. Audience responses were generally positive, particularly toward the “Periset” series and technology-related innovation content. The main supporting factor is widespread social media use, while the primary challenge is the content validation process with researchers. The study highlights the important role of @brinpedia in disseminating research information to the public.
