Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Deep Learning approach within the Merdeka Curriculum in public and private elementary schools in Pamulang District, South Tangerang City. This research employed a qualitative approach using a multisite case study design involving four elementary schools. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, supported by NVivo 15 software. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Deep Learning approach consists of three main stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation integrates Mindful Learning, Meaningful Learning, Joyful Learning, differentiated instruction, the use of media and technology, and the teacher’s role as a learning facilitator. Evaluation is conducted through authentic assessment, continuous reflection, and academic supervision. This study proposes a cyclical Deep Learning implementation model comprising planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement to support the enhancement of learning quality within the Merdeka Curriculum.
