Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the essential 21st-century skills that must be developed in elementary school students, especially in the digital age, which provides a wide variety of information sources. This skill enables students to understand, process, analyze, and evaluate information accurately. This study aims to examine various teaching strategies used by elementary school teachers to enhance critical thinking skills through the use of technology and the strengthening of digital literacy. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the PRISMA guidelines, with articles searched across several scientific databases. The review results indicate that innovative learning strategies—such as Problem-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, Inquiry-Based Learning, Discovery Learning, collaborative learning, and the use of interactive digital media—can support the development of students’ critical thinking skills. The integration of technology into the learning process has also been shown to increase students’ engagement, participation, and problem-solving abilities. Thus, a learning that combines technology and digital literacy is effective for developing critical thinking skills among elementary school students in the digital age.
