<![CDATA[This study aims to describe religious learning innovations in improving students’ understanding at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Ula Darutta'lim Annasir, Putat Kidul, Gondanglegi, Malang. The study employed a qualitative approach using field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the religious learning innovations implemented at the madrasah consisted of the muraja'ah (review) method and the question-and-answer method. The muraja'ah method was carried out by reviewing previously learned materials to strengthen students' memory and comprehension, whereas the question-and-answer method was applied to encourage active student participation during the learning process. The implementation of these two methods had a positive impact on improving students' understanding, as reflected in their enhanced ability to recall learning materials, answer questions, understand religious practices, and participate actively in classroom activities. Supporting factors included a religious community environment, the commitment of teachers, and institutional support, while inhibiting factors consisted of limited learning facilities, differences in students' learning abilities, and limited instructional time. Therefore, the implementation of muraja'ah and question-and-answer methods has proven effective in enhancing students' understanding of religious learning at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Ula Darutta'lim Annasir, Putat Kidul, Gondanglegi, Malang.]]>
