The rapid development of information and communication technology in the digital era has significantly transformed the dissemination of information. While providing easier access to information, it has also accelerated the spread of hoaxes, which may lead to misinformation, social conflicts, and threats to national unity. This condition highlights the importance of strengthening digital literacy that emphasizes not only technological competence but also ethical values and character development. This study aims to analyze the role of internalizing Pancasila values in strengthening digital literacy as a strategy to prevent the spread of hoaxes in the digital era. This research employed a qualitative approach using the library research method by reviewing relevant journal articles, books, and scientific documents obtained from Google Scholar and SINTA-indexed national journals. The data were analyzed using descriptive content analysis. The findings indicate that integrating Pancasila values into digital literacy fosters critical thinking, responsibility, and ethical behavior in accessing, verifying, and disseminating information. The value of Belief in One Supreme God promotes honesty, Humanity encourages empathy and respect for others, National Unity strengthens awareness of maintaining national cohesion, while Democracy and Social Justice guide fair, democratic, and responsible behavior in digital spaces. Therefore, the internalization of Pancasila values represents an effective and sustainable strategy for preventing hoaxes and promoting a responsible digital culture based on national values.
