Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has accelerated digital transformation in the retail business sector, particularly in managing sales transactions, inventory, and multiple outlet operations. Conventional business management often results in data inconsistencies, delays in report generation, and difficulties synchronizing information across multiple outlets, thereby reducing overall operational efficiency significantly. This study aims to develop a Progressive Web Application based Multiple Outlet Point of Sale System to support integrated sales, inventory, and business operational management. The system was developed using the RGB Product Management Framework, applying the Agile approach during analysis and design stages, and Scrum during the implementation stage. The application was built using the Laravel framework and Progressive Web App technology, enabling users to access the system through various devices using a web browser without requiring conventional software installation. System evaluation was conducted using Black Box Testing to verify functional compliance and End User Testing. The results indicate that the developed system successfully integrates sales transactions, inventory management, outlet administration, and operational reporting into a single platform while ensuring that all primary functionalities operate according to user requirements. Furthermore, the system facilitates centralized data management across multiple outlets for consistent stock monitoring. Overall, the proposed system provides an integrated solution for retail business operations, simplifies transaction and inventory management, supports operational reporting, enhances information accessibility, and remains adaptable for future business development and technological improvements in accordance with evolving organizational needs and changing business requirements over time to ensure long term success and growth for the entire company.
