Abstract

The main problem in managing membership-based businesses is the lack of optimization in customer data management, manual member registration processes, and difficulties in accurately monitoring membership status and expiration periods. These conditions can cause delays in service delivery, data recording errors, and ineffective customer relationship management strategies. This research aims to develop a web-based Membership Information System by implementing the Agile method using the Scrum framework as a system development approach. The technologies used in this research include PHP programming language with the Laravel framework for application development, MySQL as a database management system, and responsive web technology that allows the system to be accessed through various devices. The Agile method was selected because it supports a flexible development process that can adapt to changing user requirements through continuous iteration or sprint stages. The development process was carried out through four main sprints, including requirements analysis, system design, feature implementation, and system testing. The research results indicate that the developed Membership Information System is able to execute all main features according to user requirements. Based on testing using the Black-box Testing method with 15 testing scenarios, the system achieved a functional success rate of 100%. Furthermore, the evaluation results show that the system improves the efficiency of new member registration processing time by 75% compared to conventional methods and reduces the risk of data recording errors to 0%. Based on these results, the implementation of the Agile method in developing the Membership Information System is proven to produce an effective, adaptive, and integrated system that supports faster, more accurate, and efficient customer data management processes.
