Abstract

Postpartum depression (PPD) is a serious family mental health problem in the long term and is related to the issue of mother-child safety. Some mothers during the puerperium managed to adjust well, but some others were less able to handle it so they were prone to experiencing psychological disorders, namely Post Partum Depression. Postpartum depression is a continuation of the baby blues that is not managed properly. The research method used in this study is a qualitative narrative method. The population is all postpartum mothers. The sample in this study were postpartum mothers at the Banjarnegara Health Center in a certain period of time. Data analysis using coding and data triangulation. Based on a qualitative analysis of the phenomenological events of post partum depression with a history of reactive covid, several themes were found, namely maternal knowledge about covid, changes in postpartum physiology, psychological changes during the postpartum period and family support. It is necessary to do basic psychological screening in postpartum care to prevent Post Partum Depression in the puerperium and increase knowledge about the management and recognition of signs and symptoms of postpartum depression in postpartum mothers.

Abstract

In order to reduce the rate of population growth, the government has implemented various development programs. MKJP is a government effort to suppress population growth. This study aims to determine the effect of midwifery care assistance with the One Student One Client (OSOC) method on the increase in KB MKJP acceptors in Banjarnegara. The research design used was quasy experimental, the design used was pre test post test control group design. In this study, divided into 2 groups, namely the control group and the treatment group. The number of samples used in this study amounted to 30 respondents. Univariate analysis was used to describe the data results from the pretest and posttest. Bivariate analysis using the Mc Nemar test using a significance level of 0.05 and 95% CI.The results showed a p value of 0.000, which means there is a significant change in the choice of contraceptives for respondents who are provided assistance with the OSOC method. Midwifery care assistance to pregnant women using the OSOC method for 3 months showed a difference in the choice of contraceptive methods in the intervention group and the control group.

Abstract

Lactation is the whole process of breastfeeding from breast milk produced to the process of babies sucking and swallowing breast milk. The success of the breastfeeding process can be achieved by applying good lactation management. Lactation management starts from pregnancy (antenatal), immediately after giving birth (natal) and breastfeeding (post-natal). The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the knowledge of normal postpartum mothers regarding lactation management at the PONED Community Health Center in Banjarnegara District. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. Sampling using consecutive sampling, the sample size is 60 normal postpartum mothers. Analysis of the data used is univariate analysis. In this analysis only produces a frequency distribution. The research instrument used a questionnaire sheet containing the characteristics of respondents and regarding lactation management which consisted of six indicators namely knowledge about breastfeeding, breast care, IMD, correct breastfeeding techniques, breastfeeding on demand and breast milk. The results of this study show a picture of normal postpartum maternal knowledge about lactation management with good knowledge of 20 people (33.3%), enough that is 34 people (56.7%) and less than 6 people (10.0%).
