Abstract: Devina Sulistyawati (22031198). The Influence of Emotional Intelligence, Professional Commitment, and Work Overload on Employee Performance at the Department of Agriculture and Plantation of Batu Bara Regency. Advisor: Dr. H. M Saleh Malawat, M.MA. Examiner I: Hilmiatus Sahla, SE.I., ME.I. Examiner II: Dr. Rosnaida, S.E., M.M. This study aims to determine the simultaneous and partial effects of emotional intelligence, professional commitment, and work overload on employee performance. This research is a quantitative descriptive study utilizing multiple linear regression for data analysis. The sampling technique employed is saturated sampling (census), comprising 35 respondents. Validity and reliability tests were conducted to ensure the research instruments were appropriate for use. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis yielded the following equation: Y = 4.574 + 0.215X1 + 0.284X2 - 0.223X3. The Ftest results demonstrate that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, indicating that emotional intelligence, professional commitment, and work overload simultaneously influence performance, with an Fcount (11.022) > Ftable (2.91). The ttest results prove that, partially, emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on performance with a tcount (4.015) > ttable (2.03693); professional commitment has a positive and significant effect on performance with a tcount (4.079) > ttable (2.03693); and work overload has a negative and significant effect on performance with an absolute tcount (3.059) > ttable (2.03693). Based on the t-count values, the professional commitment variable is the most dominant factor influencing performance. The R2 test results show an adjusted R-square value of 0.469, explaining that the combined influence of emotional intelligence, professional commitment, and work overload on performance is 46.9%, while the remaining 53.1% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. Pembimbing: Dr. H. M Saleh Malawat, M.MA. Penguji I: Hilmiatus Sahla, SE.I., ME.I. Penguji II: Dr. Rosnaida, S.E., M.M. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Komitmen Profesi, Work Overload, Kinerja.
