Abstract

This community service program in Pananjung Village aimed to educate housewives on organic waste management through compost and eco-enzyme production, as well as introducing urban farming techniques for limited spaces at home. During the program, participants learned to process kitchen waste into compost and eco-enzymes, which could serve as natural fertilizers for plants. They were also encouraged to plant seeds, such as chili and tomatoes, using recycled items as planting media, making it practical for home environments. This training provided practical skills while raising awareness about waste reduction and the benefits of utilizing small spaces for food security. Through simple and economical methods, this program is expected to promote community self-sufficiency in meeting daily needs and supporting environmental sustainability.
