Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using Google Sites as a learning medium on the learning outcomes of 10th-grade students in Geography, specifically on the topic of Hydrology, at SMAS Golden Gate Makassar. A quantitative approach was employed with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 32 students selected using saturated sampling. Data were collected through learning outcome tests administered before treatment (pretest) and after the treatment (posttest. The results showed an increase in the average score from 78.87 (pretest) to 89.56 (posttest). The statistical paired sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the alternative hypothesis (H1) was accepted. It is concluded that the use of Google Sites has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes. This medium is effective in visualizing abstract hydrological concepts through the integration of various interactive content. The implications of this research encourage the utilization of digital platforms in Geography learning, although generalizing the findings requires further research with a more comprehensive design and sample.
