Abstract

Bullying in elementary schools remains a serious threat to children's psychological and social development. This community service activity aims to evaluate the effectiveness of anti-bullying socialization in enhancing awareness and preventive behaviors among elementary school students in Badamita Village. The implementation method utilized a narrative qualitative approach with data collected through written reflective essays from 35 students, followed by thematic analysis. Initial mapping revealed that 57.1% of students experienced verbal bullying (parental name-calling, physical nicknames, and harsh words), 37.1% experienced physical bullying (pushing, hitting, and hiding stationery), and 5.7% experienced social bullying (exclusion and rumor spreading). Following the interactive socialization, a significant increase in awareness was observed, as students began to recognize the boundary between harmless teasing and bullying behavior. The primary impact of this intervention was evidenced by the emergence of preventive behaviors, characterized by a notable reduction in verbal harassment, the development of mutual forgiveness, and increased student courage to report or intervene against bullying activities to teachers. This program effectively established a safer, inclusive, and child-friendly school environment
