Abstract

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) has two risk factors, namely risk factors that cannot be modified including genetics, age, blood type and gender. Recent research on apo E gene polymorphism in people with CHD shows that there is a relationship between age factors and blood type factors to the incidence of apo-e gene polymorphism. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between age and blood group factors on the apo E gene polymorphisms found in CHD patients. This study used the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method using several article references that are relevant to the relationship of age and blood type factors with the incidence of Apo-E gene polymorphism in patients with coronary heart disease. The search for lliteratur sources focuses on medical and health scientific publications on the NCBI search site (Pubmed) and Google Scholar searches. The secondary data source in this review literature comes from literature published in the last 5 years, namely 2017-2022. The results of the study showed that genetically the apo E4 allele of the APO-E gene is strongly associated with an increase in LDL, resulting in an increase in coleterol in the blood. The age factor shows that the more you get older, the greater the probability of CHD events. A person who has a non-O blood type is more at high risk of developing CHD, that is, the blood type A group is more at high risk when compared to the blood type B group.ABSTRAK Jantung Koroner (PJK) mempunyai dua faktor resiko, yaitu faktor risiko yang tidak dapat dimodifikasi meliputi genetik, usia, golongan darah dan jenis kelamin.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has rapidly transformed global education systems, pushing institutions toward online learning. This study explores the effectiveness of WhatsApp as an e-learning tool for the Biomolecules and Metabolism course in the Tadris IPA Program at IAIN Bengkulu during the pandemic. A mixed-methods approach, including a survey and semi-structured interviews, was employed to assess students' perceptions of WhatsApp's usability, its impact on engagement, and its effectiveness in facilitating learning. The findings show that WhatsApp was widely regarded as user-friendly, cost-effective, and accessible even in areas with weak internet connectivity. A majority of students (90%) reported that WhatsApp helped reduce data usage compared to other platforms, making it a more viable option for online learning. Moreover, WhatsApp’s group chat, document sharing, and audio message features significantly enhanced student engagement and participation. This study highlights the potential of WhatsApp as an alternative e-learning tool, particularly in resource-constrained environments. The novelty of this research lies in its focus on using WhatsApp in a specialized science course, contributing to the understanding of how mobile messaging platforms can support higher education in the post-pandemic era. The results suggest that WhatsApp can be a valuable tool for improving learning outcomes in science courses, though further research is needed to address challenges related to information overload and synchronous learning limitations.

Abstract

Humans to maintain survival need food as the most basic thing. However, it remains to be considered whether these foods have optimal nutritional value. The food consumed by humans must contain various kinds of nutritional content that can support human life processes. how optimal public health can be increased with the implementation of hygienic and halal food, this fulfills the criteria of good food in Islamic and health studies. This study uses a literature review method in which the researcher conducts a series of studies involving various kinds of information from the literature such as books, encyclopedias, documents, and so on. The data is described and analyzed by understanding and explaining it. with the aim of finding various kinds of theories and ideas which can then be formulated results in accordance with research objectives. Islam and health basically have the same goal for the good of humanity. Therefore, in consuming food there are several conditions that must be met and really paid attention to so that humans avoid various types of diseases that originate from food. The study of Islam in the Al-Quran is found in QS.AlBaqarah, 2:168 Halal food and thoyyib means food and drink that are permissible for consumption according to Islam, according to the type of food and how to obtain it. Halal in the understanding of fuqaha is lawful in terms of substance and process. It is also called thoyyib if the food is safe, good, and does not cause any problems if consumed, both short and long term and can provide benefits to the body.
