Abstract

This descriptive qualitative research aims to analyze the implementation of student study time regulations at Misbahul Munir Islamic Boarding School, identify the factors that influence them, and test the alignment of these local policies with the regulations of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. A case study approach was used to collect data through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving caretakers, administrators, and ustadz (Islamic teachers). The data obtained were then analyzed systematically through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study revealed four main findings, namely: (1) time regulations can significantly improve students' discipline and time management skills; (2) allocating diniyah learning in the morning has proven to be more effective and efficient in optimizing religious understanding; (3) the internal policies of the Islamic boarding school are aligned with government regulations stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of Religious Affairs (PMA) Number 30 of 2020; and (4) the implementation of these regulations has a positive impact on the formation of noble morals and the consistency of students' daily worship. Therefore, this research is expected to be a strategic reference in the governance of time management in the Islamic boarding school environment in order to create a disciplined, competitive, and productive educational ecosystem.
