<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of access security and service convenience on students’ interest in using digital wallets among students at Islamic universities in Pekanbaru City. This research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, with the sample size determined using the Slovin formula. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 student respondents from Islamic universities in Pekanbaru City and analyzed using ordinal logistic regression with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27. The partial results show that access security has a positive and significant effect on students’ interest in using digital wallets. Meanwhile, service convenience also has a positive and significant effect on students’ interest in using digital wallets, although its influence is not as strong as that of access security. Simultaneously, access security and service convenience have a significant effect on students’ interest in using digital wallets. Thus, students’ interest in using digital wallets in this study is more dominantly influenced by access security, while service convenience acts as a supporting factor that further strengthens the interest in usage. From the perspective of Islamic economics, these findings underscore the importance of the principle of amanah (trustworthiness) in maintaining security and the principle of taisir (facilitation) in providing convenience in digital muamalah (transactions). This study is expected to serve as a reference for digital wallet service providers in developing services that are both secure and user-friendly. ]]>
