Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of education level and religiosity on the use of PNM Mekaar Sharia financing. Using a quantitative associative approach, this study involved 101 PNM Mekaar Sharia customers in Ranah Sungkai Village, XIII Koto Kampar District, Kampar Regency. Primary data were collected through questionnaires and secondary data through books, journals, documents, and other relevant sources. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination. The results show that education level has a positive and significant effect on financing use, with a t-value of 8.083 and significance of 0.000. Religiosity has a positive but not significant effect, with a t-value of 1.232 and significance of 0.221. Simultaneously, education level and religiosity significantly affect financing use, with an F-value of 32.680 and significance of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.400, indicating that the two independent variables explain 40% of the variation in financing use. The findings indicate that education is a more dominant partial factor, while religiosity is not a significant partial determinant of financing use.
