Abstract

Biology is a field of study that systematically examines natural phenomena. Biology learning is not only about conveying information in the form of facts and concepts, but also requires students to be involved in the discovery process, which requires critical thinking skills. However, low learning motivation is still an obstacle in the learning process. Various factors, such as monotonous teaching methods, a lack of interactive learning media, and the presentation of uninteresting materials, can reduce students' interest in learning actively. This low motivation has a direct impact on low student learning outcomes. Based on these problems, this study aims to determine the effect of using interactive media E-LKPD integrated with Wordwall on the learning motivation of high school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design method, involving two classes XI, namely the experimental class using E-LKPD Wordwall media and the control class using conventional methods. The research instruments used were learning motivation questionnaires and documentation of learning outcomes. Data were analysed using the t-test. The results of the analysis showed a significant difference between the two groups. The significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 indicates that the use of E-LKPD integrated with Wordwall has a significant effect on increasing student learning motivation. Thus, this interactive media can be an effective alternative in biology learning at the high school level.
