This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by Educaplay on the science and social studies (IPAS) learning outcomes of grade 3 students at SDN Jatibening 4 Bekasi. The background of this research is the low IPAS learning outcomes of students who were still below the minimum completeness criteria (70) with an average score of 58, as well as the learning process that still used conventional models, causing students to tend to be passive and less actively involved. This study used a quantitative method with a Quasi-Experimental Design of the post-test only control design type. The research population was all students in grades III-A and III-B at SDN Jatibening 4 Bekasi, totaling 60 students, with a saturated sampling technique so that the entire population was used as samples. Class III-A (30 students) as the experimental group was given treatment using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Educaplay, while class III-B (30 students) as the control group used conventional learning models. The research instrument was a written test in the form of multiple-choice questions that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques included normality test (Lilliefors), homogeneity test (Fisher), hypothesis testing (t-test), and effect size test (Cohen's d). The results showed that the average score of the experimental class 81.5 was higher than the control class 70.66. The hypothesis test resulted in tcount 2.869 > ttable 2.003, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The effect size calculation obtained a value of 0.66, which falls into the large/strong category. In conclusion, the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Educaplay has a significant and positive effect on the IPAS learning outcomes of grade 3 students at SDN Jatibening 4 Bekasi. This study suggests that teachers should apply the PBL model assisted by digital media such as Educaplay as an innovative learning alternative, and schools are expected to provide supporting facilities and teacher training to optimize the use of technology in learning.
