<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the role of the nyorog tradition as a means of social integration within Betawi communities in Bekasi City and to elucidate the social and cultural values preserved through this tradition amid the dynamics of urban society. The study employs a qualitative approach using library research, drawing on a range of sources, including books, scholarly articles, previous research findings, and relevant documents concerning Betawi culture, social integration, and the nyorog tradition. The data were analyzed through systematic stages of data reduction, classification, interpretation, and descriptive-analytical conclusion drawing. The findings demonstrate that nyorog functions not merely as a customary practice of exchanging or distributing food prior to Ramadan or other religious celebrations, but also as a social mechanism that reinforces solidarity, strengthens kinship ties, facilitates intergenerational communication, and sustains communal harmony. Furthermore, this tradition contributes to the preservation of Betawi cultural identity by transmitting enduring values of mutual cooperation, respect for elders, social responsibility, and togetherness. The discussion reveals that despite the profound influences of modernization, urbanization, and increasing demographic heterogeneity in Bekasi, the nyorog tradition continues to endure through adaptive responses to social transformation, thereby remaining a significant form of social capital that strengthens community cohesion and social integration.]]>
